Piece of Mind Foundation focuses its efforts on providing school supplies, scholarships and mentorship opportunities. Background
Ainsworth and Maria Jackson have been fortunate to embody the American dream as migrants from Jamaica and the Philipines who met in Germany in the mid-80s. They were also lucky to have had careers in the U.S. as Soldiers and Department of Defense as Army Civilians with a combined 64 years of selfless service to God and country. Their most notable work as public servants dates back to Operation Deliberate Force - Bosnia; Operation Enduring Freedom - Philippines; and Operation Tomadachi - Japan; operations providing humanitarian and disaster relief to those affected by war, civil disturbances, and natural disasters. Their extensive experience as public servants coupled with migrant mentalities manifested itself in their commitment to lessening the burdens of those less fortunate than themselves by donating school supplies and equipment to schools, churches and civic organizations, which led to the creation of Piece of Mind Foundation.
